Safety at TrueMove
Your safety matters. TrueMove is built around respectful outreach, clear boundaries, and recipient control. Here are practical tips and resources to help you stay safe while using the app and when taking any interaction beyond it.
Boundaries First
- You Never Owe A Response: A request, note, or gift does not require you to reply, chat, meet, or continue contact.
- Use The Safety Tools: Block or report anyone who makes you feel unsafe, pressured, or uncomfortable.
- Keep Private Details Private: Do not share your home address, financial details, identity documents, or passwords with other users.
If You Choose To Meet In Person
- Take Your Time: There is no rush. Get to know someone through the app before deciding to meet in person.
- Meet in Public: When you do meet, choose a public place with other people around—a café, restaurant, or park.
- Tell Someone: Let a friend or family member know where you are going and who you are meeting.
- Trust Your Instincts: If something feels off, it probably is. Leave the situation and block or report the user if needed.
- Stay Sober: Avoid meeting under the influence of alcohol or substances so you can make clear decisions.
Reporting Abusive Users
If someone harasses you, pressures you, makes threats, or violates our Community Guidelines, report them immediately.
- In-App: Use the report option on their profile or in your chat.
- Email: Send details and screenshots to
support@truemove.app.
We review reports and may issue warnings, temporary suspensions, or permanent bans. Severe violations (harassment, threats, hate, coercion) may result in immediate action without notice.
Blocking Users
You can block any user directly within the app. Blocking prevents them from seeing your profile, sending you messages, or contacting you. You are always in control of who can interact with you.
Avoiding Scams
- Gifts Are Voluntary: No one should ever pressure you to send a gift. If someone demands or guilt-trips you, do not send it—report them.
- We Never Ask for Money Outside the App: TrueMove does not facilitate direct payments between users. All gift purchases go through our secure payment system.
- Protect Your Information: Never share your password, financial details, or personal documents with other users. We will never ask for these via email or in-app message.
- Be Wary of Off-Platform Requests: Be cautious if someone quickly wants to move to another app, email, or phone. Scammers often try to move conversations off the platform.
